For those of you that need the Push-To-Mute Hotkey feature to accomodate using Say2Play while also using an online chat app such as Ventrilo or TeamSpeak this patch should bring much added joy

Here are the patch instructions:

Close Say2Play.

Download this:

http://www.say2play.com/downloads/S2PPTMPATCH.zip

Open this folder:

C:\Program Files\One Voice Technologies\S2P

Rename the following files:

OVFlashWrap.dll -> OVFlashWrap.dll.old
OVS2PWrap.dll -> OVS2PWrap.dll.old
Say2Play.exe -> Say2Play.exe.old

Extract the downloaded zip to this folder:

C:\Program Files\One Voice Technologies\S2P

Open Say2Play and you should have a new Push-To-Mute hotkey option

If you run into any issues you can always return to the previous version by closing S2P and renaming those files back to their original names.

Please post your working configurations so others can benefit.

Worked perfect on Windows 7 between Eve Online and Ventrilo... Has made the difference whilst trialing it from 'thinkin about buying it' to 'wantin to buy it' Thanks

I can't rename or add files to the folder. Here is what I get:
! C:\Users\Robbin\AppData\Local\Temp\S2PPTMPATCH.zip: Cannot create OVS2PWrap.dll
! Access is denied.
! C:\Users\Robbin\AppData\Local\Temp\S2PPTMPATCH.zip: Cannot create Say2Play.exe
! Access is denied.
! C:\Users\Robbin\AppData\Local\Temp\S2PPTMPATCH.zip: Cannot create OVFlashWrap.dll
! Access is denied.
I can't find the file OVFlashWrap.dll even though it claims it is there. I need a little help. Thanks.

P.S. What are all of these crazy posts on the forums about dresses and chiropractors and the like?

Make sure you are logged in as an Administrator and Say2Play is not running.

You can try running WinZip, WinRar or another common extraction app as an Administrator by Right Clicking the icon to be sure.

This is local to your system and has nothing to do with the file provided.

thanks for the link. I have started downloading it but it is taking a long time. How much time will it take to dounload either my net will be slow or there is some error.

I just tested from an outside connection and file downloaded fast.

Try a different browser or close all your windows and try again.

Hello there. I helped you test Say2Play several years ago when we were talking about adding the push to mute key. The key is a toggle, but back then, didn't you make the option to have it as a momentary contact switch? That way you can have your say2play voice mute key and your ventrillo key as the same key. Say to play would be active all the time and when you pushed the mute key, you could use ventrillo. I thought you encoded the option to make it a momentary key?
